FILMLEVISION

I am a filmmaker specialising in writing and directing with a focus on strong emotional dramas and thrillers. I have collaborated with inspiring creatives in and around Europe and Africa and won Best Writer awards at the AMVCAs, the GMAs and was a quarterfinalist at the Academy’s Nicholl Fellowship. I also created and produced a TV gameshow on ETV Ghana and directed a theatre group for 2 years. Carving compelling and gripping stories that touch audiences is what I enjoy. I love when my film can open discussions and have special interest in female characters, human stories and underdogs.

 

Starting on stage in Ghana in my early teens, I have accrued about a decade of experience in screenwriting and an in-depth understanding of technical filmmaking roles topped with 3 years of directing. Currently based in London, I graduated from my MA in Filmmaking from DeMontfort University and Raindance Film School where I specialised in film directing. I am certified in Film Production from the Creative Skillset & The Production Guild of Great Britain. I have acquired a certificate in Filmmaking Script to Screen by the BFI and The National Film and Television School . I also hold an Advanced Cinematography Certificate from Raindance.
